About the Campaign Creator:

My name is Saeed Usman Abdullahi. I am a Postgraduate student based in the Sciences. I obtained my first degree in Zoology from the Biological Sciences Department of Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.

What drives me to conduct a project on this topic is the economic implication for human lives. Diseases caused by mosquitos have negatively impacted human health in both Sub-Saharan and other parts of Africa. Chemical based insecticides are very expensive - Alternative insecticides extracted from plant leaves offer an affordable, highly effective and environmentally-conscious alternative.
